Restorative care · Glendora, CA

Quietly returning teeth to full working order.

Crowns, bridges, root canals and extractions, the work that ends pain and gets a mouth functioning again. Our bias is always toward saving the natural tooth when the long-term outlook supports it.

Crowns for teeth that can't take another filling

When a tooth is cracked, heavily filled or root-treated, a crown wraps and protects the remaining structure. Shade and contour are matched so it disappears into the arch.

Root canals without the mythology

A root canal relieves pain rather than causing it. Under proper anaesthetic the appointment feels much like a large filling, and it saves a tooth that would otherwise be lost.

Extractions handled carefully

When a tooth genuinely cannot be kept, we remove it gently, preserve the socket where an implant may follow, and give you a clear replacement plan before you leave.

Before & after

What to do beforehand, and what the days after really look like.

Before your restorative visit

  • Tell us your pain pattern, hot, cold, biting, spontaneous. It genuinely changes the diagnosis.
  • Take prescribed antibiotics fully if we treated an infection first.
  • Eat beforehand; you will be numb for a few hours afterwards.
  • Bring a list of your medications, especially blood thinners.

Afterwards & aftercare

  • A tooth can feel bruised for several days after root canal therapy. That is the ligament, not failure.
  • A temporary crown needs care: no floss pulled upward, no sticky food on that side.
  • If your bite feels high once numbness fades, call, a quick adjustment prevents weeks of soreness.
  • After an extraction: no rinsing, spitting or smoking for 24 hours to protect the clot.
  • A night guard protects new crowns from the grinding that broke the last tooth.

Restorative cases are recorded with pre-treatment photographs and radiographs and repeated after completion, so you can see both the visible restoration and the healing at the root. Function is reviewed too, chewing comfort and bite balance, not just appearance.

Questions we're asked

Restorative Care, answered plainly.

How long does a crown last?
Ten to fifteen years is typical, and considerably longer with good hygiene and a night guard if you grind.
Is a root canal painful?
The infection hurts; the treatment relieves it. With modern anaesthetic the procedure itself is comparable to having a deep filling placed.
Should I save the tooth or extract it?
If there is enough sound structure and healthy bone, saving it is almost always the better long-term outcome. We show you the X-ray and explain the odds either way.
Do you handle dental emergencies?
Yes. Call (909) 305-1015 as early in the day as you can and we will make room for genuine pain, swelling or trauma.
What replaces a tooth after extraction?
An implant, a bridge or a partial denture, depending on bone, budget and the neighbouring teeth. We discuss all three before the extraction, not after.
