Braces · Glendora, CA

Traditional orthodontics, unhurried and precise.

Fixed braces still handle the hardest cases best. Brackets and wires work continuously without depending on anyone remembering to put a tray back in, which is exactly why they remain the right answer for many mouths.

  • Metal braces
  • Ceramic (tooth-coloured) braces
  • Teen treatment
  • Adult orthodontics
  • Bite correction
  • Retainers

When braces beat aligners

Severe crowding, significant rotations, large gap closures and substantial bite correction move more predictably on a wire. If that is your case, we will say so rather than sell the more fashionable option.

Ceramic for visibility concerns

Tooth-coloured brackets give the mechanical advantage of fixed treatment with far less presence in photographs.

Adults welcome

Adult bone responds well; treatment simply takes a little longer and gum health is monitored more closely throughout.

Before & after

What to do beforehand, and what the days after really look like.

Before your braces visit

  • Have cleanings and any fillings completed before bonding day.
  • Stock up on soft food for the first week and on orthodontic wax for rubbing brackets.
  • Contact sports need a mouthguard sized for braces.
  • Set the expectation with teens: cleaning takes longer now, and it is not optional.

Afterwards & aftercare

  • Soreness for three to five days after fitting and for a day after each adjustment.
  • Avoid hard, sticky and chewy foods, ice, caramel, nuts, hard bread crusts, for the whole treatment.
  • Brush after every meal and use interdental brushes around brackets; white marks left by plaque are permanent.
  • A loose bracket is not an emergency, but call so it can be re-bonded before progress slips.
  • Retainers, nightly, indefinitely. That is what protects the result.

Standardised orthodontic records, front, side and occlusal photographs plus a pre-treatment scan, are taken before bonding and repeated at debond, so the before-and-after is a like-for-like comparison rather than two flattering angles.

Questions we're asked

Braces, answered plainly.

How long will I need braces?
Most comprehensive cases run 18 to 24 months. Limited cases can finish in under a year.
Do braces hurt?
The first week and the day after each adjustment are tender. Over-the-counter pain relief and soft food handle it comfortably.
What age should a child be assessed?
An orthodontic assessment around age seven catches jaw growth issues early, even when treatment itself waits several years.
Can I get braces if I have crowns or implants?
Usually yes. Implants do not move, so they are planned as fixed anchors and the surrounding teeth are moved around them.
How much do braces cost?
Cost tracks case complexity and treatment length. We give a full quote with monthly payment options after your records appointment.
